At a function to celebrate the 85th birthday of Lourdes I was struck by the sense of family. Definitely it was her family which she was most happy about. They in turn adored her and came from all over the world to be there this afternoon.
Today when so many seniors are consigned to Old Age Homes, it is heartening to see that aunty Lourdes has not list her charm.
In the evening I spoke to a friend who was taking care of her mother who is 96. Lourdes is getting there.
