Once there was a big horse
Who did not like the sea . . .
The red flags are up
A roaring over the sea.
Waves break on the shore
The monsoon rides home.
Afternoon by the beach
The deck fills up.
A woman in minis
poses for her man.
White sands
batter-fried squids
Sinquerim's walls
gaze on in the distance.
But the other one's arm
dragged me along
like the pull of the sea . . .

Blood Wedding: A Tragedy in Three Acts and Seven Scenes (1933) is an epic drama of desire and revenge by Spanish playwright and poet Federico Garcia Lorca. The opening epigraph is from Act 1, Sc. 2 and the closing lines from Act 3, Sc.2.
Minis: minimal clothing, mini-sarong being the favourite beach wear.
The fort at Sinquerim was built by the Portuguese in 1612.
