It was nice beginning my Sunday today at 6-ish, listening to the AIR FM Rainbow app on my phone. The phone offers convenience and portability and can also be listened to without earphones.
Being an RJ for AIR in Goa and in Delhi it was like coming home once again.
Radio stays with you when you are lonely and there is no one to talk to. It keeps you updated with the first news bulletin at 7.05 a.m. It is all of 5 minutes but fills you in on what happened last night and what will happen today.
In a rare bulletin, Goa news was the first to be read out today with a cylinder blast claiming 23 lives in a hotel in Arpora, North Goa. We got to know that the PM would be visiting Leh in Ladakh and inspecting the Shooting tunnel. The 7.05 a.m. news does not have a recap at the end so you have to be listen very carefully so as not to miss out anything.
