As one reels from the crash of Air India flight AI 171 in Ahmedabad on 12 June 2025, other crashes of AI also surface. The AI 171 disaster took the lives of 241 on board (one survived) and 19 on the ground.
Forty years back Air India flight 182 'Kanishka' crashed in midair over Cork, in Irish airspace on 23 June 1985, killing all 329 on board.
