Rakesh Yadav (35) from Azamgarh, UP, was buried alive on 29 May 2024 when the walls, in the trench he was working, caved in while excavating a tunnel shaft for a water supply project in Palghar, Maharashtra. (Indian Express, Mumbai, Page 1 Anchor, 20/6/24)
