Dwayne was all excited yesterday. A bus had been arranged at 8 a.m. for the altar servers of the Holy Family church, Porvorim to leave from the church. The action was to be at Don Bosco, Parra. There were a number of activities on the anvil. It first began with Mass. There were talks, games, spot prizes and a delicious lunch, followed by the grand football tournament in the evening. Parishes of Mapusa, Revora, Porvorim, Cunchelim and of course Parra participated. The altar servers included boys as well as girls. Separate events were held for them. Fr. Alfi D'Cruz was the man behind the success of the day. With the able support of Fr. Caetano Fernandes and the Don Bosco fathers they made the day memorable for the little ones.
