I awake
feeling cold
I turn the AC
up to 24.
A coincidence?
Outside
The sea thunders
in the still night.
Staying in a beach hut
metres away from the sea
using an AC
seems bizarre,
But that's what
tourists
seem to want.
Before the shacks
are folded up.
Before the monsoons
slam Goa.
