The almond trees are green now. One can hardly see the red leaves. At several places the trees are shedding their red leaves and sprouting new ones. Just a month ago I was struck by the brilliance of red. A month later the trees are turning a new leaf. Literally.
So is the cyclic nature of life. There is freshness where we look. Though the heat grows apace, the almond tree stands tall with grace and promise - showing us how to be cool.
