| Hannah yearns for a child. |

In the readings of yesterday and today we learn of the yearning of Hannah for a child. Notwithstanding the ridicule she faces, she continues to pray for this gift. Eli notices this. Finally a child comes to pass. He is called Samuel. (1 Samuel:1-20).
I am reminded of the time years ago when we dared to ask the Lord for the same gift. Today when we are days away from Dwayne's 11th birthday, I see how this little baby transformed our lives. The Lord has kept His hand upon him - specially in the days of July last year.
In Him all things are possible.
