About: Robert Schumann (1810-1856) was a German composer. Traumerei - loosely translated as 'dreaming' - is one of a set of 13 pieces for piano in his Kinderszenen or 'Scenes from Childhood.' They were inspired by his fiance Clara who he felt saw him as a child sometimes.
