Pray for Kerala

In a unique tribute to the spirit of Kerala, I was invited to judge a Pookalam competition at Bhavan's school. The theme was 'Pray for Kerala.' Several performances were put up by the children who had dressed up in traditional attire for the cultural programme. The first prize for the Pookalam competition went to the House depicting the Lord Bahubali with tears. I read my poem for the Kerala New Year titled 'Chingam I.' The invitees were then served Sadhya on banana leaves by the staff of Bhavan's school. The event helped to build bridges between schools and colleges in Goa.
