Valentine's Day 2016 - Mobor

This V-Day we decided to go to Fishereman's Wharf, Mobor, South Goa. This was a treat for all of us as we had never ventured south of Varca in recent times. It turned out to be a very enjoyable affair with everyone chilling out in their own way. Dad took in the trawlers which skimmed past on the river Sal. Dwayne lugged into his prawn curry rice and Queenie was beaming all over happy the family was together.  After lunch Dwayne reminded everyone he still had to play with his ball. So we turned left and then right to Mobor beach which was a heavenly sight. The pristine white sand made us long to linger on till the sunset but we still had to negotiate the roads to Vasco. FW is 35 kms from Vasco via Colva-Benaulim-Varca-Carmona-Cavelossim. Looks like all the big names in the hotel industry are sitting here.  The Taj Exotica for example was bidding for a V-Day dinner today for a couple priced at Rs, 1, 25, 000. Some years back we had gone to a 5 star in Bogmalo but were not satisfied. This time we were. As I sit typing this listening to 'Pretty Woman' from the CD Because I'm Yours (Sony, 2010) we bought when we first met. I feel we have come a long way. God has been good to us. Bless His holy name.
